Call for Papers
Established in 1979 by EWICS TC7, SafeComp is a premier annual event dedicated to the safety, security, and reliability of critical systems. This 45th edition offers a unique single-track environment, fostering focused debate and networking on the state-of-the-art and future challenges of safety engineering.
“ENGINEERING SAFE AND SUSTAINABLE COMPUTING SYSTEMS”
Society increasingly depends on interconnected systems of systems - combining cyber-physical infrastructures, industrial platforms, edge and cloud computing, and AI-enabled services - across domains such as mobility, healthcare, industry and agriculture. These smart solutions enhance our lives, so we do not wish to renounce their benefits, although they bring unprecedented safety challenges. SafeComp 2026 focuses on engineering approaches to manage safety amid complexity and sustainability requirements, ensuring that solutions remain viable and affordable in the long term.
The conference covers all aspects related to the development, assessment, operation, and maintenance of safety-critical computer systems. Major topics include, but are not limited to:
